Cane Crono Infusion Pump

This exciting range of products is manufactured by Cane' Medical Technology in Italy. Fully compliant with CE requirements this pump is available with a resevoir capacity of 10ml, 20ml and a new 30 ml option. Pump options in this range may be programmed by volume and in required hours of delivery and is applicable to a wide range of subcutaneous therapies including Pain Control, Fertility, Thalassemia and Oncotherapy. Cane Crono PCA Pump

The Crono PCA model is specified for more critical Central or Intravenous applications, and has recently been selected as the pump of choice for UK Primary Hypertension therapies. It has also been found suitable for long term intrathecal infusions for relief of pain. Cane Crono Super-PID Pump

Based on the standard Cane Crono model, with the same reliable mechanical assembly, the new Super-PID model is specifically designed to address the requirements for the subcutaneous administration of Immunglobulins for the treatment of Primary Immunodeficiency. Currently available in a model which will accept 10 or 20ml syringes, and with the ability to set partial volumes as well, this pump can address both paediatric and adult applications. Needle Infusion Sets

The Polyfin infusion set is the basic product in this range. Manufactured with a pre-bent needle, and available in a number of configurations, this set is the first choice for most general applications. Sof-Set Infusion Sets

QR device

The QR device is available as an option on both of the previous models, and information is contained within the relevant product page. Silhouette Infusion Sets

New to the range in October 1998, the MiniMed Silhoutte is an alternative soft catheter system. One application area is where subcutaneous depth is limited, and a shorter insertion depth is necessary. This system also allows disconnection at the infusion site, without the need to replace the catheter. More Information

Contact Infusion Sets

The 'Contact' Set manufactured by Maersk Medical is another unique configuration, designed to provide maximum ease of use and reliable insertion. It uses a needle design, with the needle secured in the centre of the soft fabric fixing pad. The fixed length ensures guaranteed depth of penetration each time. More Information

Insuflon Subcutaneous Injection Port

The Insuflon subcutaneous administration set is a special teflon cannula with an injectable port which allows for multiple dosages through the same site without the need to inject the patient on each occassion. This provides a much more convenient and comfortable access than the alternative of repeated needle insertions. More Information

Quick-Set Infusion Sets

The newest product in the range is the MiniMed QuickSet. Designed to combine the attributes of the Sof-Set and the Silhouette sets, this combines a vertical catheter assembly, with a choice of lengths, mounted with a self adhesive dressing and with a disconnect at-site feature.
