 This exciting range of products is manufactured by Cane' Medical Technology in Italy. Fully compliant with CE requirements this pump is available with a resevoir capacity of 10ml, 20ml and a new 30 ml option. Pump options in this range may be programmed by volume and in required hours of delivery and is applicable to a wide range of subcutaneous therapies including Pain Control, Fertility, Thalassemia and Oncotherapy. More Information  The Crono PCA model is specified for more critical Central or Intravenous applications, and has recently been selected as the pump of choice for UK Primary Hypertension therapies. It has also been found suitable for long term intrathecal infusions for relief of pain. With a choice of 10 or 20ml syringes, with a wide range of flow levels, and comprehensive safety programms this is the ideal choice for safe, portable infusion systems. More Information  Based on the standard Cane Crono model, with the same reliable mechanical assembly, the new Super-PID model is specifically designed to address the requirements for the subcutaneous administration of Immunglobulins for the treatment of Primary Immunodeficiency. Currently available in a model which will accept 10 or 20ml syringes, and with the ability to set partial volumes as well, this pump can address both paediatric and adult applications. More Information  Introducing for the first time a truly portable pump with a full 50ml syringe capacity, the new Crono PCA 50 is a fully functional Patient Controlled Analgesia system in an extremely compact package. With very sophisticated alarm and safety systems, and full keyboard lock out, this contains most of the features of the much more expensive bedside pumps. More Information  This is a pump for those who prefer the traditional syringe driver design. Unlike other current models, however, the MP-101 incorporates the most up to date electonic controls for greater safety and convenience for the users and patients. It's flexible rate options make this suitable for a wide range of applications. More Information  Based on the same principle as the MP-101 this new model is programmable in rates of mm/24hr. This meets the requirements of traditional practice in this area, but offers the same safety and performance benefits of the MP-101 model. This is designed to remove the ambiguity which has arisen in the past with pump settings based on mm of travel. Each model is dedicated to a particular syringe which can be specified at the time of purchase. More Information  The Rythmic range of pumps, manufactured by Micrel, are amongst the most sophisticated on the market today. With an excellent easy fill system for the 160 ml resevoir, and with in-line air protection filter and anti-siphon valve, this provides for the ultimate in safe drug infusion.  The Polyfin infusion set is the basic product in this range. Manufactured with a pre-bent needle, and available in a number of configurations, this set is the first choice for most general applications. The extremely fine guage needle, and soft fabric butterfly retainer provide the optimum levels of comfort in a needle set. More Information  The prime product in the range is the MiniMed Sof-Set. This is the one product which has found the greatest range of applications and is our undoubted best-seller. The soft teflon catheter ensures maximum comfort, with assured insertion using the MiniMed Sof-Serter device. More Information  The QR device is available as an option on both of the previous models, and information is contained within the relevant product page. This enables rapid and safe disconnection of the pumping device to enable the user to participate in activities which may be inconvenient with a pump attached. More Information  New to the range in October 1998, the MiniMed Silhoutte is an alternative soft catheter system. One application area is where subcutaneous depth is limited, and a shorter insertion depth is necessary. This system also allows disconnection at the infusion site, without the need to replace the catheter. More Information  The 'Contact' Set manufactured by Maersk Medical is another unique configuration, designed to provide maximum ease of use and reliable insertion. It uses a needle design, with the needle secured in the centre of the soft fabric fixing pad. The fixed length ensures guaranteed depth of penetration each time. More Information  Insuflon Subcutaneous Injection Port The Insuflon subcutaneous administration set is a special teflon cannula with an injectable port which allows for multiple dosages through the same site without the need to inject the patient on each occassion. This provides a much more convenient and comfortable access than the alternative of repeated needle insertions. More Information  The newest product in the range is the MiniMed QuickSet. Designed to combine the attributes of the Sof-Set and the Silhouette sets, this combines a vertical catheter assembly, with a choice of lengths, mounted with a self adhesive dressing and with a disconnect at-site feature. With it's own inserter device, and a needle safe system for needle handling this is proving a very popular choice amongst our patients. More Information |
