Medtronic have a well established range of needle based Subcutaneous Infusion Sets which provide maximum compatability with a wide range of drugs, as well as optimum comfort for the user. Known as the 'Polyfin' range these have recently been re-engineered to meet the highest standards of manufacturing quality and user convenience.

A particular feature of these sets is the bent needle configuration. This causes much less stress on the tissue at the infusion site and is thus much more comfortable for the patient than the conventional straight needle design.

All Sets Incorporate:

  • Fine gauge needles - pre-bent to an angle of 30 degrees for maximum comfort.
  • Soft fabric butterfly fixing, used with a tape of your choice to provide secure and comfortable fitting (Except MMT-106).
  • Standard luer-lock connectors for use with any standard pump configuration.
  • Low 'dead-space' volume to minimise drug wastage. (Less than 0.2ml)
  • Kink resistant tubing.
