The elastomeric ‘balloon’ is enclosed in a rigid case for protection, and to ensure minimum effect on flow rates from external influences.

A clearly visible, magnified, scale gives a reliable indication of pump volume throughout the administration period.

The ergonomic shape, and the carry case included, make it easy to handle and comfortable to wear.

The in-line filling system is simple to use and enables rapid priming of the infusion line.

The filling port includes a 200 micron particle filter to eliminate the risk of unwanted elements entering the fluid path.

There is an additional 1.2 micron in-line particle filter which also provides air elimination in the distal end of the infusion line.

A patient line clamp is fitted, which may be removed during the course of the infusion to eliminate interference.

The addition of a manual control enables operation of the pump in bolus, or bolus and continuous modes, to cater for the widest range of clinical applications.

There is a wide selection of flow rates and bolus patterns available as indicated in the table below.
