The Unomedical 'Contact' set is a unique product which brings a new level of user comfort and convenience to those who prefer to use a needle set.

The needle, which is fixed at right angles to the soft cotton fixing pad, is well secured and results in lower levels of irritation than conventional straight needle infusion sets. This technique of fixing the set reduces the problems which frequently restrict the use of needle sets in sensitive users. The standard product, code MA81, has a needle length of 10mm, with a tubing length of 110cm.

The thala-set products provide a similar configuration but these offer an 8mm needle length, with a choice of either 60cm or 110cm infusion tubing. (Codes MA85 and MA86)

All Sets Incorporate:

• Fine gauge needle at right angles to fixing pad, in a choice of lengths.
• Soft cotton fixing 'hub' with integral adhesive tape for secure fixing.
• Standard 'luer-lock' connectors for use with any standard pump configuration.
• Low 'dead-space' volume to minimise drug wastage.(Less than 0.2ml)
• Kink resistant tubing.
