The Cane Crono pump is the basis for a family of pumps designed to address a wide range of Subcutaneous and Intravenous Drug Administration therapies. All pumps in the range have identical general characteristics, but specific program variants are available to meet particular therapeutic needs. All models can use either a 10mL or 20 ml syringe, with a new 30ml model available in the standard Crono-T configuration, and all are supplied with a range of carrying accessories for user convenience. The single battery cell has a typical life expectancy sufficient for 200-300 full syringe infusions.

Chrono-T

Designed specifically for Subcutaneous use this model allows delivery of required volume over a specific period. This is the ideal pump for use for treatment of Thallasemia, and for the infusion of Bricanyl in the treatment of Brittle Asthma. Its compact size and ease of use make it ideal for home nbased therapies where mobility and flexibility are paramount.

The pump can be programmed to deliver the syringe fill volume over any specified period between 30 minute (10ml Syringe) or 1 hour (20ml syringe) and 99 hours.

An additional dose of 0.2ml can be delivered at any time if required by pressing the dose button.

Chrono PCA

Designed for more sophisticated applications requiring Centra, Intrathecall or Intravenous drug delivery, for example, in Pain Control Therapy(PCA) and Pulmonary Hypertension,these model allows flow rates to be programmed within the range 0.05 to 5ml/hr

There is a programmable dose feature within the range of 0.02 to 0.99ml.

Cane Crono PCA Pump to prevent the unauthorised change of flow rate and dose bolus, and there is a full dose limiting program capacity.

Chrono H

This model is designed for Hormone therapies which required fixed periodic bolus administration.

Programmable time interval between doses can be set withing the range from 5 to 300 minutes, at 5 minute intervals.

The dose amount is programmable in a range from 16 to 205 microlitres in 16 microlitre steps.

This model aslo incorporates a keyboard lock function to prevent unauthorised changes in dose regimen.
